Celebrating Nature in the Capital:
Join us on June 2 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Rideau Hall, 1 Sussex Drive. In collaboration with Rideau Hall and Doors Open Ottawa, we will offer exhibits, nature walks, live animals, lots of information and give aways.
Disclaimer:
Please note that the event sponsored by Today's Parent at the Nepean Sportsplex on March 31 and April 1 entitled "Parent and Kid Show and National Capital Wildlife Festival" was not, in any way, connected to the National Capital Region Wildlife Festival.
National Wildlife Week was created in 1947 by an Act of Parliament to raise awareness among Canadians about the importance of wildlife and wildlife conservation. Each year, thousands of Canadians participate in a celebration of wildlife.
Join with many wildlife organizations and your community for fun and learning about the wildlife in your area. Please visit to see how you as a school, individual, group or business can participate in the events offered by the partners of the NCR Wildlife Festival.
