Robert Bateman “Get to Know” contest

The NCR Wildlife Festival is encouraging youth to participate in the Robert Bateman ‘Get to Know' contest. Enter this year's contest – Earth Day, April 22, 2010 through May 28, 2010 – and show your appreciation of Canada 's natural beauty. Winners will be featured in the 2010 Robert Bateman ‘Get to Know' calendar!

Robert Bateman is a popular and well-known Canadian naturalist and painter. The ‘Get to Know' contest encourages Canadian youth to explore to outdoors and share their discoveries with others.

From 1999 to 2006, the National Capital Region Wildlife Committee held a poster contest which was discountinued in 2007. The winners in each year were:
