"Migration...An Incredible Journey"
National Wildlife Week's Poster Dragonflies at Sunset Every year dragonflys migrate thousands of kilometres. Go to the Canadian Wildlife Federation Website to find out more about this amazing journey.

Barbara Campbell of the Canadian Wildlife Service of Environment Canada has coordinated this event for the sixth year. A request for submissions was sent to all schools in the English and French school boards in Ottawa-Carleton.

The prize winners chosen were invited with their teachers and classmates to be brought by buses to the Opening Ceremonies and Awards Presentations at the Canadian Museum of Nature on April 5th to receive their prizes. Approximately 450 children and their teachers attended the event

Winning entries were displayed at the Awards Presentations and at Carlingwood. Official photos by Moose MacMillen were taken of winners and their winning entries.

All the First Place, Second Place and Honourable Mention winners received certificates. The First Place winners received merchandise valued at $50 and a ribbon, and their schools each received gift certificates of $100, donated by Our Natural World at Carlingwood Mall and the Canadian Museum of Nature. The Second Place winners received merchandise valued at $25 and a ribbon
