Educators

The Wildlife Festival is an opportunity for educators and their students to participate in activities that will increase their understanding of wildlife and wildlife habitat.  This year the theme of National Wildlife Week is  "Biodiversity"  We would encourage you to participate with us in increasing awareness of these most important issues:

Art in the Schools:
Students in elementary schools can submit letter-size posters in keeping with the yearly theme of the Wildlife Festival. Posters will be judged in three categories: K to Grade 2, Grade 3 to 5, and Grade 6 to 8. First, second and third winning posters will receive certificates and the posters will be displayed at the Wildlife Awareness Event in Billings Bridge Shopping Centre. For 2011, the theme is The International Year of Forests and the deadline for submission is March 11.
